Bead Sealer

KEX KX-507F Bead Sealer is a professional black sealing compound designed to help prevent air leaks between the tire bead and wheel rim during tire mounting and service. Applied directly to the bead-seat area, it helps create a more dependable seal on properly prepared wheels and is ideal for tire shops, dealerships, fleet maintenance, and professional automotive service facilities.

DIRECTIONS:

Remove the tire from the rim and inspect both the tire bead and wheel bead-seat area for damage, corrosion, dirt, or other contamination before use.
Clean and dry the bead-seat area thoroughly.
Using the brush applicator, apply a thin, even coat of KEX KX-507F Bead Sealer around the tire bead in the area that will contact the rim.
Mount the tire according to standard tire-service procedures.
Inflate the tire to the manufacturer’s recommended pressure and check for leaks.
Apply additional bead sealer only where needed if a minor bead-area leak remains.
Keep the container tightly closed when not in use.
Use only in a well-ventilated area and keep away from heat, sparks, open flames, and other ignition sources because the product is flammable. KEX specifically describes this product as a bead sealer intended to help prevent leaks between the tire and rim.
